I don't think anyone likes to watch something they're against.
Or folk preaching at you.
Where as those who are into it, will like it.
I remember something about climate emails and some climate
'scientists' declaring their sick enjoyment that the Day After,
will scare people rigid.
As for the extreme events, it seems they only carried on where
the dumb 'Truth' movie left off. Where the story is scare people.
I understand waterworld had problems in production but the problem
is that just how does the whole world get flooded, or spoiler, not.
Least for those out at sea, how do they gather enough drinking water.
The Day After's big scare was strangly for warmists, a big freeze.
Where they then had to burn old books, climate 'scientist's' spreading
the word that old knowledge and books need to be burnt. Least shred
your 'old data', if you had any in the first place.
Playing on old scare films that folks like to scare themselve and
the Judeo-Christian guilt tripping, hair shirts and self torture.
In their disaster movie genre though, they are good films to watch.
I can see a future film where skeptics are portraied as evil devils
burning people alive, and crazy Mel Gibson has to save the world
from them. The best part of Mel's films is when he's got a gun
in his mouth.
Movies have long been used to sell propaganda while the truth is
left to documentaries
