(Both other characters and the Harkness character
have referred to him as homosexual.)
Did I miss a switch in the character's sexuality
or is the US show too shy to use the term bisexual
or omnisexual?
URL to TW Web of Lies?
I wonder if Radio Free Skaro has picked up on this?

I call non-heterosexuality political correctness.
I noticed that too. There is no sign what so ever in this series that he
also likes women. I also wonder if its an American thing. Perhaps it
would be too confusing for them. Or, maybe they think American viewers
dont know and later on he goes with a woman as some sort of "amazing"
reveal later?

He had a daughter in "Children of Earth", clearly implying that he'd been
with a woman.
And he flirted a little bit with Gwen in some of the early season 1
episodes.
Jack has done women.

That's not what you asked. Don't go changing the goalposts.
Well done, you understood my post.

Well there is Jack and John.
10/10 .
You mean appart from calling Gwen when he was lying in bed together with
that bar man?
The original idea of Torchwood was that you could never be completely
certain about the sexuality of the characters. Captain Jack was always meant
to be "omnisexual". Ianto had a girlfriend before becoming Jack's boyfriend.
Etc...
On the other end of the age spectrum, there was Small Worlds, where Jack
meets an old girlfriend as an old woman. He shows concern for her, but no
sexual attraction.

"Omnisexual" doesn't equate with gerontophilia!
I have to protest that the word "pansexual" isn't getting enough usage.

Bit of ponce sneaking out there. Equate??? *scoff* *scoff*
So WTF is a bisexual transexual Mr Keep Your Hands to Yourself?

Meaning that he was attracted to her when she was young, not attracted to
her as a senior citizen.
Hah! You think the word "equate" is poncey?!? Are you a fucking retard?
Make a goog guess.
If you're looking for a snappy comeback call my agent to discuss rates.

Because heterosexual is the norm, bisexuals are often referred as
homosexual because that's the bit that makes them "different."

His first reference in Doctor Who was bragging about escaping while in a three some
with both. It was usually as a opportunistic fashion. A sort of whore.
