Does the power shutoff key need a turn in the workshop?
Currently got no power to the hotspot that is being tested (mounted above pillar drill)

Possibly occurred around 15:00 today, haven't had any data since then
Is this is a common method for 'shutting down' the workshop after use?

no, it's not normally left off to my knowledge.
it means either there was a trip or someone pressed an emergency stop
button. if turning the key doesn't keep the power on, check the RCD in
the metal box above it are on and that none of the E stop buttons are
jammed on.
do obviously be aware that whatever may have caused a trip may still
be plugged in too, so have a good look round for any obvious
electrical problems/fires etc !

I see, it needed resetting on Tuesday as well.
I'm not down the space tonight (noticed this remotely), but if there is anyone there any fancies resetting the switch (maybe doing some initial checks too), it would be greatly appreciated to continue testing!

Thanks for pointing that out for me the other night Ian!
Hopefully someone will be about tonight to reset it

What Tom said, if it's tripping regularly, we should keep an eye on it. Is there some way we can log it?

Put a note next to the reset asking people to post if they have to reset

You can see from the energy monitor and UPS logs.

Oh! Is that a genuine outage? The ups isn't on the e-stop circuit...

Timing matches the last bit of data I received from the machine room.. Haven't had any data since, it could be due to the e-stop of possibly the gateway being messed up due to an outage

Yes for an outage, the e-stop loop latches off. Everything else should recover OK, you might want to pick a socket off the e-stop loop.
