I love the plethora of microcontroller development boards and SBC out there, they appeal to me on so many levels (aesthetics, technology, ingenuity, versatility, complexity, etc) and the boundless possibilities they open up captivate me. I've had a few, including, Picaxe, various Arduinos,Intel Edison, Beaglebone Black, MicroPython, Arduboy, Gambuino, PocketChip. BUT I'm lazy, busy, unfocused and short on free time!

I've decided that keeping them just because I love the idea of them is pointless; it is just clutter that makes me feel guilty for not doing something amazing (or even mundane) with them. But it does still hurt to get rid of them, admitting failure/defeat and watching all the possibilities they promised disappear.

To help me focus I'm going to try and stick to 1 or 2 and not buy any more unless a previous one is used in a project or 'passed on'. Logically Arduino is a good one to hang on to just because of its ubiquity and community support. The second one I think I will keep is the PocketChip as it is totally self contained and very versatile (being a Linux SBC).

Anyway, all this cathartic preamble is leading up to: Anyone want to buy an early Rev. BeagleBone Black that has probably been powered up for less than 5 hours in its life before it goes on eBay? If you have a specific project you need it for please do let me know.

Yes please, as conversely it’s about the only one I haven’t tried for 3D printing.

Or even better, would you like to swap it for good quality Arduino clones?

My BBB has found it's new home - hope it does everything you need (and more!) Alex.
