getting more info on USER object via Web Player API

Hi,

Via the Web Player API, is there a way to get more than the USER subscription state for the USER object?

Like having the user id, name, etc when they click play.

Hi Chuck!

You'll need to authenticate the user with the Web Service API[1]. You
can then call `currentUser`[2] and it will return a User object[3].
This does require you to make API calls from a web server.
