Sale to a list member fell through, so I’m offering it here once again before sending it to eBay. My hope is that somebody on this list will give it a loving home.

This gorgeous bike has been hanging up in the bike room for far too long—it’s time to get some sunshine in its spokes, but I’m currently riding other bikes and this one just doesn’t seem able to find a spot in the rotation.

I bought this bike as a Frame/Fork about ten years ago, and have had many hugely enjoyable rides on it. Built by Joe Starck and painted by Joe Bell, it rides very well—comfortable enough for all-day efforts if that’s what you like, or great for short rides to the coffee shop.

Photos and a video tour here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskW1hRfP

Some details:

— Joe Starck-built frame with Richard Each-designed lugs. Interesting “open” fork crown (see photos)
— Almost all Campagnolo: Record hubs, Centaur cranks (50/34 compact), Chorus brakes and derailleurs, Titanium seatpost
— 9-speed drivetrain
— Silver shifters (downtube friction) Note that I have a pair of Chorus Ergo levers that I can include with the bike if you don’t want friction downtube levers. Let me know and we can adjust the price accordingly.
— Origin8 brake levers
— Wheels built with Velocity Aerohead rims on Record hubs with Record skewers
— Compass Stampede Pass tires (almost new)
— Nitto stem and Noodle bars, with new tape.
— Brooks B17 special saddle (large copper rivets)

Measurements:

Seat tube: 56 C-C, 57.5 C-T
Top tube: 58 C-C
Standover: 83 cm
Bars: 44 wide C-C
Stem: I have two stems: a 90mm Nitto (branded for Santana tandems) and a 120mm Cinelli non-aero model. I can provide either one *or* I can ship the bike without a stem for $50 less.

Price, including shipping in the CONUS: $1,550 ($1,500 without stem)

Not included in the price are the seat bag and pedals. If you want those, we can work out a price.

If you recall the first time I listed this bike, the stem at that time was stuck in the steerer. I took it to a local framebuilder and had it removed, so that has been taken care of. The price of the bike has been adjusted upward just a bit to cover the cost of having that done and to reflect the fact that the bike now has zero problems.
