Hi,

Thanks in advance.

I am new to pbdR and need your help to start with.

I have installed R-3.2.2 and Rtools on 64-bit Windows (Windows 10).

Should I need to install Microsoft MPI (or any others)? May I request you to give me step-by-step approach to start with pbdR please?

Once again, thank you very much for the time you have given.

Regards,

Deb

Hi Deb,

I think you should check pbdR installing instructions. You need MPI: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/pbdMPI/vignettes/pbdMPI-guide.pdf

Best regards,

Cristina

Hi Cristina,

Thanks for your response.

I am going through the guide.

I've taken the following steps:

1. I've installed R-3.2.2 and Rtools version 3.3.0.1958

2. Install MS-MPI

I've got this site (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb524831(v=vs.85).aspx) from the link (Download Microsoft MPI, MS-MPI, (HPC Pack 2012 R2 MS-MPI Redistributable Package) from Microsoft Developer Network or here; )

The above address from  here.

In this page, it says

MS-MPI downloads

The following are current downloads for MS-MPI:

Should I need to install both (the two dot points).

Please guide me.

Regards,

Deb
