Running RAxML-NG on Comet

Hello, 

I am trying to run RAxML-NG on Comet. I tried compiling it myself, however I keep getting errors. Has someone already installed RAxML-NG on Comet that I could use?

so how have you tried to compile it and what errors have you got?

Have you tried to used the pre-compiled binary instead?

Hi all,

In case it's helpful to others, I was able to compile raxml-ng from scratch (cd66ed3, from jul25) on comet using gcc/4.9.2 with openmpi_ib/1.8.4:

# module to load into PATH

> module use --append /oasis/projects/nsf/uic340/saladi1/sharedmodules

> module load raxml-ng

# binary (can also be used directly)

> which raxml-ng-mpi

/oasis/projects/nsf/uic340/saladi1/apps/raxml-ng/jul25/raxml-ng-mpi
