LockObtainedFailedException #2935

Got the following error:

Lucene.Net.Store.LockObtainFailedException: Lock obtain time out: NativeFSLock@C:\RavenDB\Data\Indexes\Databases\xxxx\Raven-Suggestions\Raven\DocumentsByEntityName\Tag-Default-0%2c5\write.lock

over and over, on one of the 2 test databases. Suggestions is not set to true as far as I can tell (it's the default DocumentsByEntityName). Any idea's? No AV scanner running. 380k docs

What build are you using? Did you issue a query from the studio?

Nope, indexes remain stale, I'll get it when adding documents to the database, the database should index, but this error stops the index process.

Hm...

Does this persist even if you restart the db?

Basically, it looks like suggestions has been enabled for this, likely at a later date.

You can prevent that using: Raven/PreventAutomaticSuggestionCreation

Workaround, shut down the db, delete the Raven-Suggestions directory, set the config value, and try again.

Directory: Raven-Suggestions doesn't exists :|
