got exception during smuggler export invalid character after parsing property name expected : but got M

Received the following error (screen grab as unable to cut/paste from studio)

I was exporting via the studio all on localhost.

I have since successfully run this using smuggler on the command line however given the Tasks window uses the same thing behind the scenes I do not understand why I got this error the first time round or what to do if i may encounter it repeatedly.

Could you have a document with malformed metadata? It's unfortunate that error message doesn't include the document id just some meaningless array index.

I'm not so sure. I did manage to export it successfully a 2nd time (As stated b4) and have been able to import said export successfully just now too.

If it worked on the 2nd try, then maybe there was a communication error?

Was all running on localhost.

No, its been running on #2916 for a while. was just giving some more background info when I mentioned prior versions.

Can i make another UI suggestion? Can you make the export progress *scroll down* so you dont have to keep checking by scrolling down to see if there are any errors?
