Automated installation using Chef

What is the best way of automating the installation/upgrade of RavenDB.

I’m trying to do this using chef, so if anyone has experience doing this, that would be useful.

Also, is it possible to automatically register a server for replication?

You can do that using the unattended MSI installation process.
