How to deploy chat-server.php on a remote machine ?

Hello, 

I'd like to run the chat-server.php script on a dedicated remote machine. Is it even possible ? Do I have to create a new Symfony project just in order to be able to make it work ?

Sorry if this is a silly question.

Symfony is only a dependency for the Session component; you won't need to make an app to run it. There's several ways to run a script on a remote server, the deploy docs suggest using Supervisor.
