'could not find curb-0.8.8 in any of the sources'

I have looked but cannot seem to find the answer, 

any help?


after running rails installer I try to launch a server locally and get curl errors

'could not find curb-0.8.8 in any of the sources'

I have tried  bundle install and all that it suggests but no joy.

i am on windows 8

Have you tried installing the curb gem according to the instructions at https://github.com/taf2/curb#installation ?

Also, curb isn't used by Rails by default.

Are you working on an existing app?
