Transaction validation in raft

Do the follower nodes also validate transactions provided by the leader, or is the leader the sole validation provider?

If it depends on the implementation, do you know how it is usually implemented in the blockchain context (specifically for quorum)?

Please provide code snippets or sources, if possible. Thanks you!

The leader does the sole validation. Raft is a non Byzantine model
