Suggestions for running Radiant 1.1.4 on Rails 3?

Looking at the Radiant project's git commit history, I'm not sure how to best go about getting our Radiant 1.1.4 running on Rails 3.

This is based on the assumption that Rails 3 support is further along than Rails 4 support, but that's just a guess on my part.

Any suggestions?
