This machine has a physically removable AMD FirePro M4000 and a built-in Intel HD4000 series graphics controller. While the AMD GPU is present, the Intel GPU is disabled in hardware and invisible to the OS. This is the expected behavior for this model.

With the AMD GPU, everything works fine. With the Intel GPU, the display remains blank on resume from sleep and I have yet to find a workaround.
