System seems to be working.  It's a fresh install and I'm still finding my way around.  Graphics are working, though I don't have dual monitor support (which as an aside... could be a bit of a deal breaker).  Haven't tried the built in motherboard graphics.

Congratulations!

The multimonitor issue is part of KDE. Turns out it has been a problem in KDE 4 and also 5. For example, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346961. If you use the XFCE desktop in Qubes, you will not have the monitor issue.
