ERROR: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'qid'

attempting to create appvms using the vm-manager returns the popup error:

ERROR: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'qid'

Any idea what this means, and what to do about it?

This appears to be a bug in vm-manager. I can still create vms using qvm-create.

Which qubes version? Have you run a recent update?

R3, freshly installed and updated.

Problem comes and goes. I was able to reproduce after a reboot, but just now appvm creation succeeded in vm-manager.
