All seems to be working nicely, I have not noticed any hardware incompatibilities, and I've been running this machine for a bit over 3 months. I was even able to get Qubes to boot through UEFI before I ditched that and switched to Legacy.

Wow, really UEFI works with Qubes? What did you done to get it working?

Well, let me be more precise. Even though this box came with Windows 8 and UEFI pre-installed; I wiped that in a hurry. Instead, I was experimenting with an Ubuntu UEFI installation, which essentially points the UEFI bootloader to a traditional GRUB-type menu, to which I was able to manually add an entry for the pre-existing Qubes partition. So, with the UEFI-boot enabled in the BIOS, I was able to use that to load a working installation of Qubes, with absolutely no Windows software involved at all. That was a while ago, and I was fairly under-impressed with the whole thing, so I switched back to the Legacy boot method simply out of familiarity, and a desire to ditch Ubuntu.
