Hi,

How might I make a screenshot in Qubes?

Running gnome-screenshot from an AppVM and attempting to take a
screenshot of an app in the same VM results in a white image.

This is expected given the gui virtualization.

Is there a workaround? Perhaps a custom qubes tool should be developed?

It is possible to make screenshot from dom0, there is at least ksnapshot tool
for it. Of course you need then copy screenshot file to VM...

BTW I don't know why taking screenshots in VM doesn't work - there is normal X
server, just video is set to "dummy".
