Booting issues on R 3.2 with recent kernel persist

Dear developers, I must regretfully inform you that this issue

still affects me on most recent kernel. modeset=0 kernel option did nothing for me, and neither did anything else I tried (the only workaround is using older kernel for booting, and that just doesn't quite sit right with me)

I realize everyone is very busy with dozens of important bugs and am very sorry to be naggy.
