When I use KWin with Breeze theme, the yellow window titles have white text, which is poorly readable. Could this be changed to, say, black text?

If it is possible to change this from color profile (see the other mail
about Kwin), then yes - you'll need to edit
/usr/bin/qubes-generate-color-palette:
https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-desktop-linux-kde/blob/master/plasma-breeze-qubes/qubes-generate-color-palette

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

It looks like it is. Just setting activeForeground (and optionally inactiveForeground, but I don't need it) does the trick. Even without reloading anything, I can just save the file.

I found the documentation at https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/Theme-related_files . Well, it is for some ancient KDE and without much details, but it still seems somewhat relevant.

I hope I'll do more about this later.

I've done some improvement by configuring foreground colors of yellow, green and orange VMs to black. Borders of inactive windows are not fixed (that is, they still have the same color as in inactive windows), but I am not sure if there is a way to fix them.

Tested with Breeze and it works well. I've also tried to test it with Plastik, but even without my modification, it makes the active window title uncolored (i.e. some generic color regardless of the VM color). Is Plastik theme considered as supported?

(No, I don't want to use Plastik theme, I just wanted to assure that I did not break anything. If Plastik works OK for others, I'll have to find out what is broken on my machine. If Plastik is not supposed to work well ATM, I'll probably send a pull request.)

Take a look at discussion here:
https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-issues/issues/1784

In short: no, Plastik is not supported. And borders color seems to be "a
feature":
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360237#c2

I went through the discussion. Is there anything specific I should note?

In short: no, Plastik is not supported. And borders color seems to be "a

OK, I'll PR it tomorrow.
