Just decided to report on the developer mail list that I have done some more poking and testing with regards to the "delayed windows qube GUI lag" issue that is affecting me.

P.S.: is it possible to change logging verbosity on the fly?

Normal qga.exe logs (that I've already put in the issue on github) don't seem very informative and increasing verbosity "from start" as described in the docs results in a mess (given that the issue can take hours to finally arise). Increasing verbosity after "lags show up" would be much better methinks.
