You can start both qrexec daemon and gui daemon manually. Take a look at
the process list for examples.

--color=COLOR, -c COLOR VM color (in format 0xRRGGBB)
--label=LABEL_INDEX, -l LABEL_INDEX VM label index
--icon=ICON, -i ICON Icon name (without suffix), or full icon path
--qrexec-for-clipboard, -Q force usage of Qrexec for clipboard operations
--background, -n do not wait for agent connection
--audio-low-latency, -a low-latency audio mode
--foreground, -f do not fork into background
--invisible, -I run in "invisible" mode - do not show any VM window
--kill-on-connect=PID, -K PID when established connection to VM agent, send SIGUSR1 to given pid (ignored when -f set)
--prop=name=type:value, -p add additional X11 property on all the windows of this VM (up to 10 properties)
specify value as "s:text" for string, "a:atom" for atom, "c:cardinal1,cardinal2,..." for unsigned number(s)
--title-name, -T prefix window titles with VM name
--trayicon-mode trayicon coloring mode (see below); default: tint
--help, -h Print help message
Log levels:
0 - only errors
1 - some basic messages (default)
2 - debug
Available trayicon modes:
bg: color full icon background to the VM color
border1: add 1px border at the icon edges
border2: add 1px border 1px from the icon edges
tint : tint icon to the VM color,
can be used with additional modifiers (you can enable multiple of them)
tint+border1,tint+border2: same as tint, but also add a border
tint+saturation50: same as tint, but reduce icon saturation by 50%
tint+whitehack: same as tint, but change white pixels (0xffffff) to almost-white (0xfefefe)
