What happened to Shen Go BTW?  Shouldn't it be in the OS downloads?

I don't think it was on the old download page: https://web.archive.org/web/20180117193805/http://www.shenlanguage.org:80/download_form.html

But we can add it if it passes certification.

Yes; you're probably right.  I'll ask the chap who built it as to status.

It appears to be up to date - last release Apr 22, last updated 22 days ago, it's on ShenOS 21.0, and there is even a pre-built binary, for Ubuntu anyway, which worked when I tried it in an ubuntu:bionic docker container:

root@cc58f080e5c8:~# ./shen

Shen, copyright (C) 2010-2015 Mark Tarver
www
.shenlanguage.org, Shen 21
running under
Go, implementation: bytecode
port
0.0.1 ported by Arthur Mao

(0-)

So would definitely like to list if the author consents.

Does anyone else who's not as familiar with GitHub want to try it? You'd have to make an account, but if you have one, it would only take a minute.

Do you want to try out doing the update? (repo link) Information about ports are listed in data.js. You should be able to edit the file directly in GitHub by clicking the pencil in the upper-right corner of the file view.

I've also tried giving you and everyone on the Shen-Language team merge power so you can make whatever changes you need to. The site should update to reflect the change a few minutes after commit.

Hi,

Thanks for that;  I'm sure you'll be faster in doing that than I.  I'm terribly busy right now, but when I get a bit of time I'll look into this.

I thought I could sell you on hosting more of the website out of GitHub if you saw how easy it was.

shen-go added. Change is online. https://shen-language.github.io/
