to Shen

anyone who has visited the smartarrays.com knows how valuable and needed array functionality can be in other languages,
or anyone who has visited kx.com would know equally well how important array programming is in and of itself,
if shen is to prove all the early doomsayers wrong, or even halfway wrong, that shen has no future because of XYZ,
especially those who held a great doubt, and might still be holding, as to the fitness and feasibility of shen as a
legit array language, then shen would do well to look into shen-ruby port, with all due respect to genius-like efforts extended
to other platforms the shen-ruby stands out because upon using it, it worked seamlessly well as far as using shen functions
in conjunction with ruby functions, despite some lagging performance such as shen list going into stack overflow after some
50000 or so elements, rather than 20 million as would be normal in pure shen environment.

it's not much exaggeration to say that most if not all shen ports have come to a grinding halt, for all practical purpose,
but shen-ruby is still useable so far as it has been developed and refined thus far, and it is my guess that any apl functionality
other than some system specific or operating system specific things could be done in shen by any shenturians even the
very beginner, in less than an hour or minutes, this idea, if fully developed, might be too valuable to share with everyone openly,
and that's fine too, if it must be so, but at least people will get to see and experience first hand the power shen can yield in the
arena of array programming, thus bringing shen and lisp family language to an unexpected and delightful light, just my two and a half...
