Hello QFS developers!

Sorry about bothering you, but I have a question about QFS project state.

I have checked commit history at github's master branch. It looks like there are no updates since Nov 2017. I am wondering, what kind of consequences end users will meet? Could you please share a bit information about current state of the project. Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
Alex Stupnikov.

Alex,

QFS development follows a model where code branches are used for new features, big or small. Once relevant code is sufficiently tested on Quantcast production cluster, it is merged into the master branch. The master branch typically used to create a release. The present release criteria is that the code would run with no apparent problems for at least two months on most of the Quantcast production clusters, and no other bugs / deficiencies reported during this period. The present plan is to do QFS release 2.0 in March 2018.
