We are looking for Uruguayan technical profiles and programmers who are recently graduated from university. See Full Requirements for more details.
The Application and Selection Process
Applicants will be screened and selected for an interview process where we will be looking for a “startup” mindset, technical ability, and English level.
Requirements:
We are looking for young Uruguayan developers and technical profiles that meet the following:
- Recent, or soon to be University Graduate in any of the following fields (or related):
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Engineering in Telecommunications
- Mathematics
- Fluency in English, it will be your daily language
- Technical proficiency in programming languages:
- Java, PHP, C/C++, Python, Javascript, NodeJS, HTML/CSS
- Passionate about entrepreneurship and technology
- An ability to adapt and learn quickly along the way
Extra Points:
- Experience with mobile platform development: Android, Objective-C
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL, Ruby on Rails, Databases will be a big plus
- Familiarity with development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Entrepreneurial activity or “side projects” outside of the classroom
- Relevant references for work experience or side projects: i.e. Github, Stack Overflow, Linkedin, etc.
Before applying, please note that:
- This program is directed at recent university level graduates and does not require you to have work experience, it will be more important to demonstrate your interest in this sector through extra-curricular activities and side projects (we want to know about them).
- Perfect English is not a requirement, your English level must be good enough to speak and understand efficiently, at no cost to the rest of a work team.
- The application process will require you to record a short video (with your mobile phone or computer is fine), and share any relevant technical or programming assets (i.e. programs, apps, repositories, etc.).
- A one page resume and a one page cover letter will also be required.
