I downloaded Python (x,y) v. 2.7.5.1 with the intention of only using the Spyder add-on but it won't open and a blac text box with code flashes up very briefly that says 'Distribution not found' before quickly closing again. This happens every time I try and open it. In my Python (x,y) Home it says that I have Spyder v 2.2.4-8 installed so why won't it open? Hope someone can help!

Re-run the installer and select a full install (this will install pyparsing and avoid other issues).
