Pygame , numpy almost all the eggs that are made for python should be made for sl4a too, i mean if anyone wants to actually start using python on the go he/she should have all the bells n whistles that come with python.

Also if anyone can help me get a neural network egg (something like pybrain) working for android id really appreciate it!

Hi,

I am assuming that you are not running a rooted device in which case
the standard CGI Handler cannot fork the cgi script subprocess as
permission will be denied. The trick is to overload the run_cgi method
of the CGIHTTPServer.CGIHTTPRequestHandler to import the module
runtime using __import__.

Pyserial has been added. Twisted and Zope have been updated. PyQt and PyGtk
will NOT be happening any time soon, as neither are supported on Android.

wx is not ported to py4a as far as I know.

In terms of GUI options, you can look at
(1) FullScreenUI / FullScreenWrapper2 for a way to use Android's native GUI/Views;(2) Android's WebView is also supported; 
(3) a port of PyQT / PySide for Android

Hi, I would love to see matplotlib, numpy, and other scientific tools added
as modules. I started to go so far as to try and do this myself, but your
page on building modules for is horrendous to follow as a scientist and
learning programmer, and appears to be outdated. If you could update that
page so any non-developer could follow it (such as which setup.py you are
referring too, or what commands need to be in a terminal, eclipse, within a
module, etc) your followers would be much appreciated and more able to
contribute to your community.

@pedrol I've analized your suggestion and, I think that we should avoid to
reinvent the wheel. matplotlib is a vast and complete library, and so the
better way to operate is to use matplotlib togheter with the gui library.
You can create a graph with it and show the result as an image in the gui.
