Standard Android App that calls into Kivy

Is it possible write a normal non-Kivy application that can call into a service or app running in the background that will make the Python calls?

I have an Android App, and I want it to be able to execute Python.  In a perfect world, I would like to have the equivalent of Python.exe on Android so my app can just launch a script.

I'm guessing Kivy does not support this, but I figure it was worth the questions.
