python for android, --no-check-certificate

i installed android sdk ndk and then exported directories succesfully,

after i entered ./distribute.sh -m "openssl pil kivy"
some files and downloaded and processed
but at https://github.com/kivy/pyjnius/zipball/master/pyjnius-master.zip,
it has breaked
with

That's very strange. I would be more concerned about what is preventing you from using https.

Hi Cagri,

I'm using linux mint and got same issue. I fixed up by adding "check_certificate = off" in ~/.wgetrc file

<Merhaba Cagrı. Aynı sıkıntıyı bende linux mint te yaşadım. Eğer ~/.wgetrc adında bir dosya oluşturup içine "check_certificate = off" 

yazarsan problem hallolur. Sanırım Mintteki ssl sertifikalarında bir problem var. Github bu sertifikaları onaylamadığı için hata alıyoruz>
