some interesting parts:
R has a bias with users of SAS, SPSS, ... commercial packages
Python has a bias to be used with open source big data tools
scikit-learn is now in the big league by itself.
Python has almost caught up with R.
There is some regional bias, with relatively fewer users of Python in Asia and Latin America.
(aside: self-selection by poll participant, so it's not clear what the population is.)
