Mac OS X - pserve exists without any errors

HI,
I'm on Mac OS X Yosemite, using python 2.7.6 in a virtualenv.
pserve development.ini
Just exists without and errors, exception or logs.
I have tried putting a python debugger on it but I can't see any exceptions.
I've also tried dtruss, but the output keeps changing. if I use -f -t I get this however:
dtrace: 26095 dynamic variable drops with non-empty dirty list
What else can I do to find out why pserve is failing?
