Hi All,

Anyone know what's up with these two domains?

Trying to set up a new pyramid project and getting lots of noise from
setuptools about these two...

Same here. 

Both domains don't respond and running "easy_install pyramid" fails. 

Running "pip install pyramid" or "pip install chameleon" instead works all right.

I'm trying to set up appengine_pyramid using buildout and installation just stops as it tries to hit that site.  I've not installed it before (just pyramid).  If anyone has any pointers on a workaround, I'm all ears.  I'll be working on a workaround today otherwise.

You can restrict the URLs that buildout will use to fetch distributions::

[buildout]
...
allow-hosts =
pypi.python.org

Thanks I have pyramid up and running now with that work around.  I still have some issues that I can't quite get yet but I'll post on another thread about it.

Hello, I have lots of domains to be retreived and that soliution won't work for me unsless there is soem hosts-deny option to isolate only pagetemplates.org.

Anyway, in what file is located that pageteplates.org - where should I look for it - maybie to remove it directly from that config file or to redirect...

You can specify as many domain patterns as you like in the buildout.cfg,
e.g.:

[buildout]
...

allow-hosts =
*.python.org
example.com

It is listed as the 'url' passed to 'setup()' in setup.py.

Malthe, can you either get 'www.pagetemplates.org' back online, or else
release a new version of Chameleon which points somewhere else?

We can get the docs hosted at 'docs.repoze.org', if need be, or the
'docs.pylonsproject.org' RTD site.
