Hello Flora,
The O'Reilly Open
Source Convention is still months away, but the deadline for
proposals in coming up fast. If you want to speak at OSCON, this is
your final reminder.
OSCON—as you know—is about all things open source. In the past,
however, we've grouped OSCON sessions by programming verticals. As
open source is now found everywhere—from the bottom of the
programming stack to the very top—we're adopting a more holistic
approach, focusing on topics as a means to consider and solve
critical, real-world problems.
We're looking for case studies, hands-on workshops, focused
how-tos, and both high- and low-level sessions on relevant topics.
Take a
look at the kinds of topics we're interested in and our tips
for a successful proposal. Then send us your best idea before the
February 2 deadline.
Help us make this a brilliant event,
Rachel Roumeliotis, Matthew McCullough, and Sarah Novotny

P.S. Speaking or not, save the date: OSCON is coming to Portland,
OR July 20-24, 2015. You won't want to be anywhere else.
