to PyData

Hi,

as we announced at the PyData meetup two days ago, the PyParis conference, on June 12th and 13th, will have a rich program for PyData practitioners:

Two PyData-oriented keynotes, one by Sylvain Corlay et and the other one by Andreas Müller (of scikit-learn fame)

- Two generic tracks around data analytics, "Integrating and shaping data" and "learning, deep and wide", and one track dedicated to machine learning with scikit-learn.

5 tutorials (90 minutes each):

  • Francis Wolinski, “Introduction to Data Analysis using Python”
  • Julien SIMON, “An introduction to Deep Learning with mxnet"
  • Benjamin Guinebertière, “Program in Python against big data clusters from one VM, thanks to Docker”
  • Joris Van den Bossche, “Data analysis with Pandas”
  • Bhargav Srinivasa Desikan, “Topic Modelling (and a lot more) with NLP framework Gensim”

Additionally, there will be also tracks, keynotes and tutorials about core Python (the language, and its tools), Web and Cloud, and Python in Education.

You can benefit from a 20% discount by using the following promo code when checking out: "Meetup_PyData" (without the quotes).

More detailed program (95% complete at this point) and link to the ticket sales: http://pyparis.org/

One important point: you have to book your ticket before the 8th of June (13h), due to security measures that aren't in our control.

Regards,

  S.
