Puppet Enterprise can't use fqdn

Basically, my installation of Puppet ran fine once I used my IP on port 3000 for the web installation.

However, when I try to add an agent using the curl script, it fails because it doesn't seem to associate the fqdn with the IP (despite me clarifying this in the /etc/hosts file).
