Next Meetup plan and proposal for a talk

Hello everyone,

Recently I submitted a cfp to GCRC but it didn't make it through.

The topic of my cfp is "Microservices from the microsservices angle".

I want to give a talk in our next ruby meetup.

Points I intend to cover during the presentation.

* Advantages of SOA over monolithic apps

* Who/How/Why is industry embracing microservices.

* Strategies about migrating from monolithic apps to using microservices.

* Polyglot setup - using the right tools for the right job.

* A live demo(hopefully)...:)

+Prathamesh can you please let me know if there are slots available?

and what are our plans for next meetup?

Any feedback on the topic will be appreciated!!!

Hey Ashish, thats an interesting topic!

The meetup will be held on 6th December as usual. I will create the meetup page and add your talk details. I think there will be one more talk by Sidhant as discussed in last meetup. Will post the meetup link and details shortly.

Anybody interested in giving a talk in the 3rd slot?

Hello everyone,

If there is still a slot I would like to talk about using Sinatra in production.

It will mostly cover how to setup your project, file structure, admin, follow mvc pattern and building Sinatra app as a service then a regular web app which later can be consumed by different clients like web app, mobile app, etc.

And if time permits I can talk a little bit about Hacker School and help anybody who might be interested in applying.

We already had some discussion about web accessibility session in the last meetup and the remaining two slots are taken by that. May be we can do a small talk on hacker news at the end of web accessibility session. We need to move sinatra talk to the next meetup.
