Hello all,

So guys where has GTUG disappeared again? There is no activity happening. 
Any specific reasons for it?

Hi All,

If some one is willing to talk on any topics on Google Technologies, I can revive the group. I have a permanent venue now with me. Unfortunately I can not talk as I am not up to speed with latest development on all Google Technologies. 

However, If needed I can do a talk on HTML 5 (also include topics included Google IO 2012). 

Rest I call on the group to find Speakers be it on Android, Dart, Google JS Libraries etc.

Hi All,

We will announce 2 events in Android on July 28, 2012. 
And yes we are planning a DevFestX - Powered by Pune GDG in last week of Sep. 

Yes, I agree there has not been any event in last 3 months. It has certainly not disappeared. Though my professional commitments are making it difficult to arrange events regularly, I have done good amount of ground work in the last 2 months.

Campuses like MIT, Sinhagad, Bharthi Vidyapith, Cummins have agreed to make venue available for GDG events on a regular basis. (And yes, I have seen the venue that Rohit is talking about. That venue too is awesome) So, we just need good quality speakers who can contribute in the forum and we are good to go.

Quality of content is going to be a focus hence I request good speakers to come forward and contribute in the forum. Speakers on Android are most welcome as that seems to be in demand.

Since Pune GDG is a mix of students and Pros (student community being prominent) we can start of with Basic understanding in Android and slowly introduce more advanced level topics. 

Events like Android Code Lab can focus on developer community. I will discuss a suitable date with Uttam and announce the same.

I have been an Android developer at IntouchId for last one year now.

I have descent knowledge about Android. I have been a speaker 
at college level events at couple of colleges in Nagar and I am a
regular attendee at TechNext and TechWeekends hosted
by Rohit and Navin respectively.

Besides, I am also an open source enthusiast and contributor.

I think, I can deliver a talk on 'Basic understanding in Android'
with exciting demos and applications.

Hello Rohit,
It would be awesome to hear you again at GTUG :) 

I would suggest that to increase awareness among general audience and participation we can conduct regular and smaller events (without free pizzas :P) at colleges.

Also I would suggest Shishir that a core team of members can be formed so that you are not burden with all the responsibilities (if this already exists i am not aware).

And lets try and meet regularly. Just general networking can help the group remain cohesive. Personally i dont know any regular members of pGTUG other than Rohit & Shishir !

Excellent response for call for Speakers. I will connect with you personally to layout upcoming events. In the meantime me and Shishir are working towards stream lining things to make these events more regular.

Its good to hear that people are actually interested in doing Open Source Projects and contributing back to community. Please join Pune-GDG, we are planning an inaugural event for Pune-GDG, it would be part seminar and part un conference. In the un conference part we must talk about this.
