I am trying to update my subscription confirmation email text (Publicize -> Email Subscriptions -> Communication Preferences) and when I click "Save", I receive a green text message on the top of the page saying " You have successfully updated your Email Subscriptions service settings." But when I try to test it and add a new e-mail of mine to my Subscription Widget on my blog, I keep getting the exact same old Subscription email message from Feedburner, saying

Hello there,

You recently requested an email subscription to(my blog). We can't
wait to send the updates you want via email, so please click the following
link to activate your subscription immediately:

https://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailconfirm?k=r-5TVdN9efJoHyH68n_Pd-U2qa0

(If the link above does not appear clickable or does not open a browser
window when you click it, copy it and paste it into your web browser's
Location bar.)

What am I doing wrong? And can I actually customise this message as I find it really impersonal?

Thanks for your help!

Are you certain you're editing the correct Feedburner feed - the one where

As long as you have the
${confirmlink}
in the 'Confirmation Email Body' , you can have anything you want in it.

And I just test-subscribed to it ( so you can remove the recent <ac****-****   @ yahoo .com> address from your list of email subscribers);  I saw the slight customization you had already done to the email body , like the Cheers at the bottom.

I am not actually sure if I am using the right website. That's what I am using to edit it - https://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/emailsyndicationSubmit
I haven't put "Cheers" at the bottom. My customised message for a new subscriber is

You may have to check that you're also using the correct Google account to access feedburner.google.com

I have just sorted it out. You were right, I was customising another subscription feed with the same blog name. (No idea how that happened, I'm so bad when it comes to technologies!)
However, I am not sure how to delete you from the mailing list as I have no clue how to check who is on my mailing list. Any suggestions?

Thank you again for the help! Much appreciated.
