VERY URGENT AND IMMEDIATE NEED

 

Job Title: VBA Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

NEEDS:

5+ years of Visual Basic programming experience

Ability to work within Excel and create Macros

Work with staff to create .CSB files

Will be working closely with staff take existing VB codes and automating view/report creation process

Will be documenting coding process and training exisiting IT staff on coding to update and support VB codes after contract is over

 

Scope of Work (SOW) for VBA Developer

 

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

•             Design, code, test and troubleshoot VBA projects.

•             Write new program code using prescribed specifications.

•             Write and maintain programming documentation.

•             Analyze performance of projects and take actions to correct deficiencies based on consultations with users and approval of the necessary parties.

•             Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications to existing data. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.

•             Transfer of knowledge to the existing staff to ensure the work can continue once the assignment ends.

•             Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

•             Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Specifications

Educational/Work Experience:

•             Bachelor degree or equivalent related work experience is required.

•             Must have 5+ Years of hands-on experience on VBA assignments

•             Must have 2 years minimal experience using SQL to select and export data.

 

Technical Experience:

•             Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

•             Very Strong in Excel and Word programming and generalizing the code and modules

•             Advanced programming experience with VBA

•             Advanced skills with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) is required

•             General knowledge of Databases: MS-Access, SQL, Cache', & Oracle

•             Experience in documentation and manuals
