HDI values for India seem to be wrong.

HDI values for India seem to have an error of 10 years when compared with values found through various other sources.

e.g. Value shown for 1985 seems to coincide with value mentioned for 1975 on various other sources. Similar error was found between values for 1999 and 2009.
