Biggest Complaint -- Old News

I've been playing around with Google's Public Data Explorer for a bit now, and it is a great idea, but badly news more timely data. As a journalist, the fresher the data, the more I am interested in it. I know compiling data takes a while, but it would be nice to see something from 2013 and 2014.
