These seam to be in 2014 or 2013 prices not 2005 prices,

According to the following table, Cubans have the same PPP GDP per capita as the Romanians - and this, for thirty years, 1990-2013.

I lived in both countries for extensive periods, and I can tell that the GDP per capita is an order of magnitude higher in Romania than in Cuba.

If the World Development Indicators are supposed to be meaningful, at least the most egregious mistakes and the most blatant distortions should be corrected.
