Saw Camels on the road

Appalled at collapse of traffic after yesterday's rain. Here is what I saw yesterday evening:
1. People overtaking using incoming lane, blocking that lane and all traffic.
2. Camels (I do NOT know where they came from) and they overtook me at Bhumkar Chowk.
3. Traffic police slapping/beating auto driver for not obeying his hand signals (automated signals of course where DOWN).
4. Water on the roads (clearly no one thought of drainage for roads, after it rarely rains in India)
It reminded me that India is third world country,urban infrastructure wise .
