Is there a way to create a FreeBSD Port?
I would love to use Profanity on FreeBSD without a installation from the original source?

I'm not too familiar with FreeBSD, however I know some work had been done on libtrophe (the XMPP library used by profanity) to enable porting to FreeBSD:
