We are delighted to announce the first public draft of the book "Artificial Intelligence and Games" by Georgios N. Yannakakis and Julian Togelius. The book will be published by Springer in late 2017, and is intended as a graduate-level textbook and an introduction to the research field of AI and Games. The draft is available at the following website: http://gameaibook.org/ However, we need your help. This book is a rather large undertaking, and while we know a thing or two about this research field, there are many topics where we are not sure that we know all there is to know. We might have missed or misrepresented important research. Therefore, we humbly ask you to help us by reading the book---or just parts of the book, however small---and pointing out any errors or omissions to us. It is totally fine, for example, to just search for your own name and tell us how we misrepresented your work, or that we should cite you when we didn't. It's also fine to point out typos, factual errors etc. However, given the short time until the book needs to go to print, we are unlikely to make any structural changes or add major new sections. Your comments - however small or large - are welcome at the following mail address: gamea...@gmail.com It makes our lives much easier if you use this mail address instead of sending comments directly to the authors or as a response to this mail. Note also that there is limited time; please get back to use before *June, 20*! Suggestions that we incorporate will be acknowledged appropriately in the book. We thank you very much in advance for your help with making this book the best it can be. Best wishes Georgios and Julian
