I would like to to produce PDF documents that can be signed.  I believe that those features appear in the version 1.5 or later PDF specification.  Do you have any plans to support features beyond those in version 1.4?

There are no plans currently to implement this by the core team but I would be open to a pull request adding this functionality.

I have the same need. Did anything ever come of this?

My situation now is that we can create a boilerplate document in Acrobat and let the user download it and sign it. Then we upload the signed document. So we don't need to create documents on the fly.
