Trying to gem install prawn fails with ttfunk error

to Prawn

I'm fairly new to ruby but this doesn't look correct to me.

$ sudo gem install prawn

Fetching: ttfunk-1.5.1.gem (100%)

ERROR: Error installing prawn:

ttfunk requires Ruby version ~> 2.1.

$ ruby -v

ruby 2.2.2p95 (2015-04-13 revision 50295) [x86_64-linux]

All help greatly appreciated!
